Street style : Meet Zheng Zhou from China

Introduce yourself

Zheng Zhou :  I’m Zheng Zhou, 22 years-old. I’m a traditional Chinese girl, and this is the first time I go abroad for short period of study. What I believe is that if we want something, we have to strive for it as much as we can, then we may obtain more than we originally wanted. But anyway, I really enjoy the time I spend in France (smile).

How would you describe your style ?

Z : Preppy style maybe…

According to you, what are the Do’s and the Dont’s in fashion ?

Z : In my opinion, what contributes most in fashion is color. Good match of color can be a big contribution, but some will make it look strange and terrible. SO it depends.

What is your favorite brands ?

Z : Ve de Vone’s

What is she wearing now ?

- Top : Ve de Vone’s

- Shirt: thrift store

- Trousers : cache cache

- Shoes : thrift store

Is there a webpage or a personal blog we can find you on ?

Street style : Meet Morgan from Paris

Introduce yourself

Morgan : I’m Morgan, I’m 22. I’m a simple and bubbly person. I love having fun and laugh. I’m trying to be very sociable and I simply love life.

How would you describe your style ?

M : I’m not sure it can be described. I wear what I want, without really planning anything. I pick up clothes randomly, clothes that I like of course but I’m trying to mix up styles.

According to you, what are the Do’s and the Dont’s in fashion ?

M : Try not to mix too many colors. And there is something that I CANNOT stand, is people wearing sandals or even flip-flops without a “proper” pedicure.

What is she wearing now ?

- Top : H&M

- Trousers : thrift store

- Shoes : thrift store

While walking down Notting Hill streets during the 2012 carnival in London, I met this incredible artist. I was simply struck by what he could do with a bike and few tools.

Street style : Meet Raphael

Introduce yourself

R: I’m Raphael, 21 years-old. Born and raised in Colombes, Parisian suburb. My father is from Guadeloupe and my mom is French. I love music, and especially rap. I love having fun and laugh. My philosophy is, don’t restrain yourself, you might not live long, but you’ll live a happy life. It would be hard for me to live without this philosophy and without water too, as I’m playing waterpolo for years now.

How would you describe your style ?

R : Casual. Sometimes I’m more in a laid-back state of mind and sometimes I am trying to be more fashion. When I look at me in a mirror, I like to say that I love what I see (laughs).

According to you, what are the Do’s and the Dont’s in fashion ?

R : You can wear colours, but you got to be careful how you mix them. Only wear matching colours. A thing that I can’t stand is people unable to pick up clothes that actually fit their morphology. Just choose the right size, don’t wear pants or shirts if they are too large.

What is he wearing now ?

- shirt : Pull and Bear

- belt : Japan Rags

- shoes : Pointers

- watch : Fossil
